خواص تومورزایی و ضد توموری انگل ها: یک مطالعه مروری

چکیده

در مناطق اندمیک، برخی از عفونت­‌های انگلی ممکن است با القای سرطان و یا القای پاسخ ایمنی علیه سرطان همراه باشند. در برخی موارد انگل­‌ها سبب بیماری در میزبان خود می­‌شوند و در موارد دیگر به تعادل بیولوژیک با آن­‌ها می­‌رسند. تهاجم انگل به میزبان به عواملی نظیر گونه انگل، چرخه زندگی، تولید آنزیم و ایمنی میزبان بستگی دارد. نتایج مطالعات در نقاط مختلف دنیا نشان داده است که برخی از انگل­‌ها نظیر شیستوزوما، اوپیستورکیس، کلونورکیس، استرونژیلوئیدس، لیشمانیا، بلاستوسیستیس و کریپتوسپوریدیوم می‌­توانند در شرایط خاص سبب القای سرطان در میزبان خود شوند ولی برخی دیگر نظیر توکسوکارا، کیست هیداتید، مزوسستوئیدس، تنیا کراسی سپس، فاسیولا و پلاسمودیوم­‌ها پاسخ ایمنی ضد توموری را در میزبان القا می‌­کنند. برخی دیگر نیز همانند تریکوموناس، تریپانوزوما و توکسوپلاسما، هم فعالیت ضد توموری و هم فعالیت تومورزایی از آن­‌ها گزارش شده است. از آن­‌جایی که درک هر چه بهتر و کامل‌­تر از این تعاملات می­‌تواند ما را به سمت آینده‌­ای روشن­ در درمان سرطان هدایت کند، لذا در مطالعه حاضر به بررسی نقش انگل­‌ها در القا و پیشگیری از سرطان­ پرداخته شده است.
