Relationship between economic-social activity and reduction of veterans' psychological problems

Abstract

  Aims. Purpose of this research was indicating the relationship between economic-social activity and psychological problems and stress reduce in veterans.   Methods. Research method is correlation. Statistical population was veterans of over 25%. 526 cases chose using categorical ratio sampling. Required information gathered with GHQ, ANQ, Steers-Bronstein's need for achievement, Rosenberg's self-esteem tests and two researcher-created questionnaire for measuring the economic-social activity in veterans . Finally, gathered information analyzed with descriptive statistical indexes and one way ANOVA, χ2, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression tests.   Results. V eterans economic-social activity had strong relationship with psychological variables include depression, anxiety, somatization, social maladaptive and self-esteem. This research, also, detect significant relationship between need for achievement and mental health index in employers war handicaps.   Conclusion. Results emphasized on manager's intensive attention to reinforcement of economic-social activity within war handicaps.
