Aims. Making a management information system is inevitable for proper managing in an organization and making logical decisions by managers. More complete and update these information, more adaptable with environment of the company would be. The aim of this research was to study the management information system by applying BSP technique and optimization architectural map of this system by this technique in a hospital. Methods. This is a descriptive-analytical study. Samples were 41 managers and experts of a hospital. Data gathering instruments were questionnaire, interview, observation and review of the documents. The study concluded 7 steps of documentation of the organizational processes, preparation of the table (process structure), interview for determination the system entities, determination of data classes by attention to entities, preparation of the table (process-class-data), categorization of the information, determination of the relationship between categories and informational architecture map. Results analyzed by quality analytical methods. Results. There were, on the whole, 58 units, 41 processes and 56 informational classes in the frame work of 5 axes (person, object, place, concept, event). At last, informational categories table, relationships between them and informational architect map of hospital drawn. Conclusion. This study is an infra structure for planning the computer network of the hospital. It is impossible for hospital manager to prepare and obtain suitable hardware and software for computer network without having this prerequisite.
