In addition to hearing impairments, noise as a stressor may cause cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure, nerve stimulation, stress and hormonal disorders in the body. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of occupational exposure to workplace noise on cardiovascular disease risk factors. Methods: This case-control study was conducted in 2020 in a large power plant industry. In this study, the health status of employees in both exposed and non-exposed groups was examined for cardiovascular disease risk factors (body mass index, blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, creatinine, and cholesterol, triglyceride and liver enzymes). Data collection in this study was performed by examining the medical records of all male workers, and investigating the exposure or non-exposure to noise by examining the documentation related to noise measurement in the industry. Data were analyzed using two independent sample t-test and Chi-square in SPSS version 26. Results: There was no significant difference between age, work experience and smoking status of the two groups (P>0.05). The results revealed that mean fasting blood sugar (FBS), triglyceride, liver enzyme (SGOT), blood pressure and body mass index were significantly different in the case and control groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the mean of creatinine, cholesterol, liver enzyme (SGPT) between the case and control groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study revealed that exposure to noise above the allowable occupational exposure limit can be effective on the cardiovascular disease risk factors in individuals, so it is recommended to reduce the risk of these diseases and prevent the progression of complications by periodically assessing the health status of employees, timely diagnosis of noise exposure and performing suitable control measures like engineering controls, management controls and finally use of hearing protection equipment.}, keywords = {Noise,Occupational Exposure,Cardiovascular Disease,Occupational Health}, title_fa = {واکاوی اثر مواجهه با صدای محیط کار بر روی عوامل خطر بیماری‌های قلبی- عروقی: یک مطالعه مورد-شاهدی}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: مواجهه شغلی با صدا در محیط کار یک مشکل بهداشتی قابل توجه و بیماری‌های قلبی عروقی یکی از مهمترین و شایع‌ترین بیماری‌های غیرواگیر و یکی از مهمترین علل ابتلا به مرگ زودرس میباشد. صدا علاوه بر اختلالات شنوایی، به عنوان یک عامل استرس‌زا ممکن است باعث مشکلات قلبی عروقی، افزایش فشارخون، تحریک اعصاب، استرس و اختلالات هورمونی در بدن شود. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی اثر مواجهه با صدای محیط کار بر عوامل خطر بیماریهای قلبی عروقی انجام پذیرفت. روش‌ها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه مورد-شاهدی بوده و در سال 1399 در یک صنعت نیروگاهی انجام پذیرفت. در این مطالعه وضعیت سلامت شاغلین در دو گروه مواجهه‌یافته و بدون مواجهه با صدا از نظر عوامل خطر بیماریهای قلبی عروقی شامل شاخص توده بدنی (BMI)، فشارخون سیستولیک و دیاستولیک و پارامترهای خون شامل قند خون ناشتا (FBS)، کلسترول، تری‌گلیسیرید، کراتینین و آنزیم‌های عملکردی کبد (SGOT وSGPT) مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. جمع‌آوری اطلاعات در این مطالعه به صورت بررسی پرونده پزشکی کلیه شاغلین مرد معاینه شده در سال 1399 و بررسی وضعیت مواجهه یا عدم مواجهه با صدا، از طریق بررسی مستندات مربوط به سنجش صدا در آن صنعت انجام گرفت. در نهایت دادهها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 26 و آزمون‌های آماری تی‌مستقل دو نمونه‌ای و کای اسکوئر تجزیه و تحلیل شد. یافته‌ها: اختلاف معناداری در سن، سابقه کار و وضعیت استعمال دخانیات دو گروه مشاهده نشد (0/05P>). نتایج نشان داد که میانگین قند خون، تری‌گلیسیرید، آنزیم کبدی (SGOT)، فشارخون و شاخص توده بدنی در دو گروه دارای اختلاف معناداری می‌باشند (0/05P<). اختلاف معناداری در میانگین کراتینین، کلسترول و آنزیم کبدی (SGPT) دو گروه مشاهده نشد (0/05P>). نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این مطالعه نشان میدهد که مواجهه با سر و صدای بالاتر از حد مجاز میتواند بر عوامل خطر بروز بیماریهای قلبی عروقی در افراد موثر باشد، بنابراین توصیه میشود با کمک اقدامات مهندسی، مدیریتی و در نهایت استفاده از لوازم حفاظت شنوایی از خطر ابتلا به این بیماریها کاسته و با سنجش دوره‌ای وضعیت سلامت شاغلین و تشخیص به موقع از پیشرفت عوارض ناشی از آن پیشگیری شود.}, keywords_fa = {سر و صدا,مواجهه شغلی,بیماری‌های قلبی عروقی,سلامت شغلی}, url = {https://militarymedj.bmsu.ac.ir/article_1001184.html}, eprint = {https://militarymedj.bmsu.ac.ir/article_1001184_344131444acfa3f9b75579a546bcae49.pdf} }
