Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2021. In this study, 368 law enforcement personnel referred to the annual health monitoring plan, values of age, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), abdominal circumference, pelvic circumference, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, fasting blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were measured. Metabolic syndrome was calculated by two criteria, Adult Treatment Panel III (ATP III) and the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Results: The mean age, weight, and BMI of the participants in this study were 39.50 years, 83.74 kg, and 27.16 kg/m2, respectively. Abnormal levels of blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, triglycerides, cholesterol, HDL, LDL and ALT in individuals were 9.2%, 16.6%, 50.5%, 4.9%, 66.6%, 1.9% and 22.6%, respectively. A high value of body mass index was observed in 83.1% of people. The waist calculated values according to ATP III and IDF criteria were 7.1% and 35.9%, respectively. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome according to the ATP III and IDF criteria were 17.7% and 20.7%, respectively in the total population. There were positive corrections between metabolic syndrome with BMI and age. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome according to the ATP III and IDF criteria were 17.7% and 19.7% in the operational military unit, and 17.6% and 21.8% in the headquarters military unit, respectively. Conclusion: The results of the present study show that approximately one fifth of the studied military personnel have metabolic syndrome. Although this amount is less than the average of the society, considering the lifestyle and job of the military, and to achieve the high goals specified for this organization, the same amount needs attention. Therefore, the use of various educational methods to control weight and diet, as well as increase physical activity is recommended.}, keywords = {Metabolic syndrome,Military Personnel,ATP III,IDF,Iran}, title_fa = {بررسی میزان شیوع و عوامل خطر سندرم متابولیک در پرسنل ستادی و عملیاتی یک مرکز نظامی}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: سندرم متابولیک به عنوان یک مشکل مهم بهداشت عمومی در نظر گرفته می‌شود و گزارشات کمی در مورد این بیماری در بین نیروهای نظامی در دسترس است، لذا این مطالعه با هدف تعیین میزان شیوع سندرم متابولیک و عوامل خطرزای آن در بین پرسنل یک جمعیت نظامی انجام شد. روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی-مقطعی در سال 1400 انجام گرفت. در این مطالعه با مراجعه 368 نفر از پرسنل نیروی انتظامی به طرح پایش سلامت سالیانه، مقادیر سن، قد، وزن، نمایه توده بدنی (BMI)، دور شکم، دور لگن، فشار سیستولی، فشار دیاستولی، قند خون ناشتا، کلسترول، تری‌گلیسرید، لیپوپروتیین با چگالی بالا (HDL)، لیپوپروتیین با چگالی پایین (LDL) و آلانین آمینوترنسفراز (ALT) اندازه‌گیری شد. سپس میزان شیوع سندرم متابولیک با دو معیار، پانل درمانی بزرگسالان 3 (ATP III) و فدراسیون بین المللی دیابت (IDF) محاسبه گردید. از شاخص آماری میانگین و انحراف معیار برای توصیف داده‌های کمی و از فراوانی و درصد برای متغیرهای کیفی استفاده شد. از آزمون کولموگروف-اسمیرنوف جهت بررسی چگونگی توزیع دادهها استفاده گردید.value -P < /span> کمتر از 0/05، به‌عنوان اختلاف آماری معنا‌دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: میانگین سنی، وزن و نمایه توده بدنی افراد شرکت‌کننده در این پژوهش به ترتیب برابر با 39/50 سال، 83/74 کیلوگرم و 27/16 کیلوگرم بر متر مربع بودند. مقادیر غیر طبیعی فشار خون، قند خون ناشتا، تری‌گلیسرید، کلسترول، HDL، LDL و ALT در افراد به ترتیب 9/2 درصد، 16/6، درصد، 50/5 درصد، 4/9 درصد، 66/6 درصد، 1/9 درصد، 22/6 درصد مشاهده گردید. مقدار بالای نمایه توده بدنی در 83/1 درصد افراد و مقادیر بالای دور کمر طبق معیارهای  ATP IIIو IDF به ترتیب 7/1 درصد و 35/9 درصد محاسبه شد. شیوع سندرم متابولیک بر طبق معیار ATP III ، 17/7 درصد و بر طبق معیار IDF، 20/7 درصد مبتلا، در کل جمعیت مشخص شدند. در بررسی ارتباط سندرم متابولیک با BMI، گروه سنی و یگان نظامی، ارتباط این سندرم با BMI و گروه سنی به صورت معنادار بود. همچنین، شیوع سندرم متابولیک در یگان نظامی عملیاتی، طبق معیار ATP III، 17/7 درصد و طبق معیار IDF، 19/7 درصد و در یگان نظامی ستادی، طبق معیار ATP III، 17/6 درصد و طبق معیار IDF، 21/8 درصد بود. نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان می‌دهد که حدود یک پنجم از جمعیت پرسنل نظامی مورد مطالعه دارای سندرم متابولیک می‌باشند. اگرچه این میزان، حدود دو برابر کمتر از میانگین جامعه است ولی با توجه به سبک زندگی و شغل افراد نظامی و جهت رسیدن به اهداف عالی تعیین شده برای این سازمان، همین مقدار نیز به توجه نیاز دارد. بنابراین استفاده از روش‌های مختلف آموزشی جهت کاهش و کنترل وزن، رژیم غذایی و افزایش فعالیت جسمانی پیشنهاد می‌شود.}, keywords_fa = {سندرم متابولیک,پرسنل نظامی,ATP III,IDF,ایران}, url = {https://militarymedj.bmsu.ac.ir/article_1001158.html}, eprint = {https://militarymedj.bmsu.ac.ir/article_1001158_316e104188ef23f7be90cf14cc85ed63.pdf} }
