Regarding it’s long border line with Iran and the great number of people traveling between the two countries, the necessity of knowleged about geographical pathology of Iraq plays an important role in keeping health standards and preventing infectious disease.   The current study is a descriptive-transactional study in which the data in the filed of infectins disease were collected and analyzed. for this analysis, various sources such as books, magazines, Internet sites particularly afficial site of WHO, Pub Med., Rose-net and CDC were used.   Based on the collected information and the results of this study, different diseases such as Malaria, Measles, Typhoid fever, Hepatitis type E, Pertussis, Cholera and Diphtheria were considered widespread in Iraq and every year we winess innumerous outbreaks of the aforementioned diseases in Iraq. Necessary to mention that over the past years several wars has agitated the health condition of the Iraq people evermore and this has also effected and disturbed the health and treatment reporting procedures like other affairs of Iraq.   This living condition of people has especially effected their health and treatment status in a way comparing to other countries in the region, Iraqi people are in a very desirable health and treatment condition. The present condition is critically threatening to Iraqi people, the people traveling to the country and the neighboring countries. Therefore, the recognition of the epidemic diseases in Iraq would health and treatment personel in border cities and the military forces in the mentioned regions in executing preventive actions and can prevent damages caused by mentioned disease to Iran. }, keywords = {Iraq,Infectious diseases,Geographical Pathology}, title_fa = {پاتولوژی جغرافیایی عراق}, abstract_fa = {  عراق یکی از کشورهای مهم و استراتژیک در منطقه خاورمیانه است که جمعیت آن بالغ بر 23 میلیون نفر می‌باشد. با توجه به مرز مشترک طولانی بین ایران و این کشور و نیز تردد گسترده افراد، ضرورت شناخت جغرافیای پاتولوژیک آن سرزمین نقش به سزایی در حفظ سلامت و پیشگیری از ابتلاء به بیماری‌های عفونی دارد.   مطالعه حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی ـ مقطعی است که به جمع‌آوری اطلاعات موجود در زمینه بیماری‌های عفونی و شاخص‌های بهداشتی درمانی کشور عراق پرداخته است. در این بررسی برای گردآوری اطلاعات مورد نیاز از منابع متعدد شامل: کتب، مجلات و سایت‌های مختلف اینترنت به‌ویژه سایت‌های WHO ، PubMed ، Rose-net و CDC استفاده گردید.   براساس نتایج حاصل از این مطالعه بیماری‌های مختلفی از قبیل: مالاریا، لیشمانیوز، سل، وبا، سرخک، دیفتری، حصبه، سیاه‌سرفه و هپاتیت E در کشور عراق شیوع بیشتری دارد و سالانه شاهد گزارش موارد متعددی از اپیدمی( Outbreak ) و شیوع گاه و بیگاه بیماری‌های مذکور در این کشور هستیم. لازم به ذکر است که جنگ‌های متعدد سال‌های گذشته ، وضعیت بهداشتی مردم این کشور را بیش از پیش آشفته نموده است، به طوری‌که حتی گزارش‌دهی وضعیت بهداشتی درمانی عراق نیز همانند سایر امور این کشور دچار اختلال گشته است. این وضعیت زندگی مردم به‌ویژه اوضاع بهداشتی درمانی آن را تحت تأثیر قرار داده است. به‌علاوه مردم عراق در مقایسه با سایر کشورهای منطقه از وضعیت بهداشتی و معیشتی بسیار نامطلوبی برخوردار هستند. این شرایط به‌طور جدی سلامت مردم عراق و افرادی‌که به این کشور سفر می‌کنند و نیز ساکنین شهرهای مرزی همسایه این کشور را به خطر انداخته است. لذا، شناخت بیماری‌های شایع در این کشور می‌تواند دست‌اندرکاران امور بهداشت و درمان شهرهای مرزی و نیز نیروهای نظامی مستقر در آن مناطق را نسبت به انجام اقدامات پیشگیرانه تجهیز نموده و از خسارات ناشی از ورود این بیماری‌ها به‌داخل کشور پیشگیری نماید. }, keywords_fa = {عراق,بیماری‌های عفونی,پاتولوژی جغرافیایی}, url = {https://militarymedj.bmsu.ac.ir/article_1000078.html}, eprint = {https://militarymedj.bmsu.ac.ir/article_1000078_ddd7d89b3b1a2291874f2cd355e6b5f9.pdf} }
